A design to match the prestige of the brand.
The Brief
With Porsche Newport underway and the Porsche brand requiring the oldest of existing Porsche Dealerships to be updated to the new Corporate Identity, we were tasked with producing a design for the Dick Lovett site in Bristol.
Unlike Newport where we had a large 14 acre site to play with, Bristol was to utilise the existing site where the existing dealership currently stands. Simple…. except the dealership needed to remain in full operation throughout the build!
The Work
The designs went through multiple itterations with a desire to try and retain existing parts of the original building, remain in occupation and phase the development. Unfortunately after multiple proposals to Porsche, it was agreed that this simply wasn’t possible.
With The Hangar now completed, the dealership has a magnificent temporary home and construction can now commence on their new permanant home.
Construction is due to start on site in September 2024 and we can all agree the final design is breathtaking. The new facility will be over 5500 sq.m in size and house a 20 used car showroom, state of the art showroom and will provide a striking addition to the Dick Lovett Cribbs Causeway Campus with yet another flagship Porsche site.
